MALDON SEA ANGLING CLUB is a small club with approximately 33 members it is based in Maldon in Essex on the river Blackwater.  We organise regular boat and beach trips usually one beach and one boat trip per month.

Most of the boat bookings are from  Essex with occasional trips on the south coast.  Beach matches are organised on beaches and piers in Essex and Suffolk and occasionally Kent .

The sea angling around the Essex coast can be exceptional especially from charter boats with all the local boats less than an hours run from the Thames estuary with Cod and Whiting fishing in the Autumn through to Spring  and Rays, Bass, Smoothound not forgetting the Tope fishing in the summer. Beach fishing can also be productive with Clacton and Walton piers regularly producing a variety of  fish during the seasons.

The MALDON SEA ANGLING CLUB meet every Friday night from 7pm at the White Horse Mundon just outside Maldon. This is not a formal meeting just a get together have a chat and a beer and to pay for trips and organise transport etc. Anyone interested in sea fishing around Maldon and the south east should call in and meet us.

Club membership is only £15 per year and runs from January to December.
